boomboomshinies:

"It’s alright! I figured you’d wanna get back as fast as possible!…I was thinkin’ of goin’ off to your zone and tellin’ people where ya were and what happened, but I couldn’t! I had to take care of ya! Ya even ended up cryin’ if I left ya on your own while you were asleep! So I couldn’t really go anywhere far!"

Clingy, again that sounded like him before. Slipping the ring off his arm he quickly opened it and hurried through. But poked his head back through.

"I shall be sure to visit again and make up for leaving so soon. Once I am sure everything is well at home."

Pulling his head back in the ring shrunk behind him until it seemed to just poof out of existence.

boomboomshinies:

"Well, you were kinda a troublemaker, but I managed to handle it, fortunately…I had ta give ya the silent treatment and send ya in time out once, sorry about that. As for how long…uh…a week or more, I think?"

Trouble maker sounded like him before getting trained and disciplined. But he stopped thinking about that the moment he heard just how long it’s been and freaked.

"A week!? I need to get back! I am sorry I am unable to stay longer Bean but I have been gone for too long. They probably think I vanished like the others."

boomboomshinies:

Bean had to cover his beak in order to muffle his cackling at that. Calming down, he removed his hand and replied.

"Ya couldn’t say ‘bro’ so ya kept callin’ me ‘bra’ while you were a kid! And ya don’t owe me anythin’! You’re family, I had to help ya out, y’know?"

"I couldn’t say bro? What a strange child I seemed to have turned into. I hope I was not any trouble for you, little bra. How long have I been here?"

boomboomshinies:

"Oh…then I guess it was one of those that ya have no memory of once ya go back to normal! I’m pretty sure the anon ya tried to grab turned ya into a lil kid!…You were real tiny! I think ya might’ve been two years old, you seemed to be younger than Alexis!…If you were in Camelot though…I guess ya might’ve accidentally come here with your warp ring?? Cause ya had it— Oh, right! Hang on!" Bean got up, going off to his room to get the Warp Ring out of the drawer, returning it to Lamorak.

"I had to take it away! Ya kept treatin’ it like a toy and I was afraid you’d end up opening it and endin’ up somewhere on your own!…I think ya were pretty lucky to have wound up here if ya managed to open it as a kid! I saw ya havin’ fun with Ellie! And then ya went and stared at me and mistook me for your dad cause the anons had me changed into a hawk! We cleared that up though and then ya knew I was your brother! And then I took ya in and took care of ya cause, well, you were a lil kid, I couldn’t leave ya wanderin’ around! Besides, ya did the same for me!"

Standing up the knight stretched. Growing up fast really hurt. Taking the Warp Ring back and slipping it over his wrist. Lamorak continued listening to the other’s story. From what he has heard and seen of anons all of that sounded reasonable.

"I owe you a debt of gratitude Bra… I mean Bean. Now why did I say Bra?"

boomboomshinies:

"…Yeah?? You were turned into a little kid, remember??" Bean asked. He supposed he didn’t mind Lamorak being on the floor. Even though he thought that maybe it’d bother Zails. Oh well, no harm in summoning one of his big brothers…That got him thinking. Big brothers were weird. Why did they like the floor so much? It wasn’t that comfy, he’d tried it out.

"No? The last thing I remember was being in Camelot and then I tried to grab a grey faced fool. Stop them from doing… something. After that all I remember is hitting your floor."

boomboomshinies:

And Bean casually flopped off the couch to sit next to Lamorak on the floor.

"Your magic anon ended. While you were sleepin’ on me. So since it ended and you got all normal and tall again I kinda started feelin’, y’know, crushed? I tried wakin’ ya up nicely! But ya wouldn’t wake up so I woke ya up by yelling and…well…there ya are!"

"Magic anon?"

Looks like the avian was still very out of it. He probably should get off of the floor but really did not feel like moving. Reaching up he grabbed a pillow off the couch and placed it under his face.

boomboomshinies:

Bean cringed some. Oh boy…twice in one day. At least he wasn’t a kid anymore. Though that didn’t stop Bean from feeling bad in either case.

"Sorry! I just wanted to wake ya up, not make ya fall off the couch!"

"Tis alright Bean."

Staying on the floor he just held his head. Lamorak ached and felt so sluggish.

"Why am I on your floor?"

boomboomshinies:

Bean stared for a bit before wheezing slightly, taking as much of a deep breath as he could and…

"LAMMY WAKE UP BEFORE I TURN INTO A PANCAKE!!"

Seems that was enough to get him to jump awake. Landing face first on the floor with no pillow this time. The Hawk let out a loud groan.

boomboomshinies:

And just like that, the roles were reversed, or well, back to normal. Bean was back to being the little brother instead of being the big brother. Though right now he wished he wasn’t literally little.

"Lammy…Hey, Lammy…! Ya mind gettin’ offa me??" he asked, poking the hawk a few times.

The formally tiny knight stirred a bit. Readjusting how he was laying. But didn’t really show any signs of waking up. Seems it’s going to take more than that.

boomboomshinies:

"…I’ll take that as a yes then." Bean chuckled and picked Lamorak up. Oh boy…falling asleep while standing. That seemed like a whole new level of sleepiness.

Walking back inside, Bean grabbed a blanket and sat down on the couch, making himself and the small hawk comfortable. At least from here if he got bored he could just turn the TV on.

It was a good thing big brothers were so comfy. The tiny knight would probably be sleeping in the Duck’s lap for a good, long while. After about an hour or so there was a poof of grey smoke and the Hawk wasn’t so little any more. It was a good thing little brothers were so comfy.

collaredexperimentation:

Heat idly ran his fingers over the tag on his collar, his nose twitching as he glanced towards a direction with forestry, down to the brush, bushes and twigs, dead leaves and small plants starting to sprout. Giving a small sigh he looked back to the other, giving a nod to his response and a small pause before speaking.

"I ask, because green is quite an odd color for a bird, where I come from, birds come in black, shades of grey, and white.

I do not know, this was an accident on my part Sir, and I apologize. I was not aware this was Camelot, and I do not know of this place. However, I would like to know if I may pick some berries somewhere around here, I wish to make something for my companions at home.”

Lamorak could not say his coloration has ever been called odd before. But given what this Hedgehog just said about their land it seemed understandable.

"I do not mind you picking for berries. No one owns any land out here, except for the King of course. But you might want to buy some in town instead. Bandits and beasts rom these lands and it’s my job to make sure no one gets hurt."

boomboomshinies:

That earned a chuckle out of Bean as he allowed the small hawk to lean on him, returning the hug.

"What, ya just wanna snuggle or somethin’? If that’s the case I’d say that we better head back inside. It’s kinda chilly out here, y’know?"

Normally Lammy would have responded. But it seems he’s fallen back to sleep standing up.

boomboomshinies:

"…Sorry! I didn’t mean to scare ya!"

"You okay?? Why were ya lookin’ for me?"

After the initial shock he went right back to looking as tired as he did before. Getting back on his feat he leaned on the Duck and gave him a hug.

boomboomshinies:

Bean let out an amused huff before going ahead and climbing down from the roof, going over to Lamorak and giving him a tap on the shoulder.

"Yeah, hi!"

If you wanted the small bird to jump that was the way to do it. Good thing he had a pillow to soften his landing.

"Bra?"

Now here's one little, sleepy Hawk coming out the front door, even absentmindedly dragging a pillow with him, looking for the Duck. "Bra?"

boomboomshinies:

Bean peeked over from the roof.

"Yeah??"

That got Lamorak looking around. Where did Bean’s voice come from? He didn’t see him anywhere.
